What is Title I?
Title I, Part A is a FEDERAL program that is part of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA). It was last amended by the Every Student Succeeds Act. It provides federal financial assistance to school districts and schools with high percentages of children from low-income families to help ensure that all children meet state academic standards.
